Manchester United fans travelling to Feyenoord have been requested by the club to maintain a low profile while in the Netherlands.
United will begin their Europa League campaign with a clash against Feyenoord at De Kuip Stadium in Rotterdam on Thursday night and ahead of the clash, there have been some security issues raised regarding the safety of the fans.
Feyenoord had faced UEFA sanctions following crowd trouble ahead of their Europa League clash against Roma in February and in order to avoid a repeat, United have urged the supporters travelling to the Netherlands to keep a 'low profile' and 'dress conservatively', avoiding their club colours.
26,000 fans are expected at De Kuip with the Red Devils expected to fill their allotment of 1,400 for the Group A opener.
