The Daily Mail reports United fan wants to sell the car number plate associated with Sergio Aguero that he bought in anticipation of the Argentine coming to Old Trafford.
Instead, Aguero was bought by Manchester City and the plate KUN 16 - the nickname he has on his shirt and his squad number for club and country - is now a daily reminder to banker Dafydd Ryder Owen of City's 6-1 thrashing of United this season.
Ryder Owen, who paid a four-figure sum for the number plate, said: "I've got to get rid of it. I'm receiving terrible stick from friends after that beating by City, especially as Aguero scored. I'm gutted United didn't sign him."
The owner, who intends to split the proceeds of the sale with UNICEF, hopes Aguero himself might be interested and follow the example of Cristiano Ronaldo, who paid £150,000 to a businessman for the CR 7 number plate.
