Man Utd explore January deal for Bayer Leverkusen fullback Jeremie Frimpong

Manchester United are exploring a January deal for Bayer Leverkusen fullback Jeremie Frimpong.

The right-back is currently at the World Cup in Qatar with the Netherlands but is yet to play a minute in the tournament.

The Red Devils' interest in the Dutchman has been previously reported but it is expected that talks could accelerate after the World Cup, says Sky Germany.

The 21-year-old has a contract with the Bundesliga side lasting until 2025.

Frimpong is able to play as a right winger as well as a right back, so could provide the Red Devils with some versatility on the flank.
