Man Utd determined to secure Hannibal to new deal

Manchester United are prepared to hold discussions with Hannibal Mejbri about extending his stay at the club.

The Tuniisan midfielder has finally emerged as a first team option under coach Erik ten Hag.

The 20-year-old, whose contract expires in June, will talk to the club about a new long-term contract.

United signed Hannibal for €10 million from Monaco back in 2019, when he was only 16 years old.

While he took time to develop, the midfielder now appears to be finding his feet in the Premier League.

He started the last two games for the club, wins over Burnley in the league and Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup.
