Manchester United are eager to hear from representatives of Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The Manchester Evening News says United are in the dark over Milinkovic-Savic's future since he is even refusing to tell teammates whether he will stay at Lazio this summer.
United midfielder Nemanja Matic has attempted to gauge how eager Milinkovic-Savic is to leave Lazio amid interest from United while they are together in Serbia's World Cup camp but Milinkovic-Savic, 23, is refusing to speak at length about a possible summer move to compatriots.
Serbian sources, meanwhile, believe United have reservations about Milinkovic-Savic's fee since he has operated at a lower level with Lazio, who finished fifth in Serie A last season.
Milinkovic-Savic is also yet to play proper Champions League football, having started in a 2015 qualifier and 15 Europa League ties for Lazio.
