Nottingham Forest are not prepared to pay as much as £25 million for Dean Henderson.
The Manchester United shot stopper is being linked to the City Ground team on a permanent transfer.
Henderson, who was on loan at Forest this season, is recovering from injury at present.
Per The Athletic, a deal for Henderson to join Forest does appear likely, as he has no future at United.
However, agreeing a fee may be tricky, as United want a significant investment from Forest if they are to part with their English shot stopper.
Henderson wants the move, as he hopes to play regularly next season in the Premier League.
