Inter Milan have failed with an approach for Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof.

The Sweden captain has made just six Premier League appearances this season and fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford amid solid performances from the likes of Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez.

Inter want Lindelof as they prepare to sell Milan Skriniar to PSG.

The Slovakia stopper revealed on Sunday that he has settled personal terms with PSG.

United manager Erik ten Hag, meanwhile, still seems determined to hang on to Lindelof, perhaps with one eye on squad depth as the Red Devils continue to battle in four tournaments.
