Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe is aiming to be fit for the resumption of the Premier League.

Tuanzebe has been sidelined since July with a back problem, but has been working at Carrington during the World Cup.

His last appearance for United came in the 2021 Europa League final against Villarreal.

Tuanzebe has continued his rehabilitation at United's Carrington training complex during the World Cup. He has been using a zero-gravity running machine to aid his recovery.

The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Aston Villa and Napoli.
