Manchester United have cleared Marco Rojo to train with Estudiantes.

The Mirror says the defender turned 29 on Wednesday and has spent his birthday back at the home of former club Estudiantes.

The South American club showed pictures of the defender in training, alongside the caption: "Nothing beats spending your birthday at home."

It is claimed Rojo was given special permission by United to train and stay in shape during the international break.

Rojo has returned to full fitness at Old Trafford in recent weeks but has found opportunities hard to come by under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
