Manchester United defender Phil Jones admits they surprised themselves with how well they played for victory over Tottenham.
Jones made his starting debut alongside Jonny Evans in the heart of defence, in place of injured duo Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand, and impressed to keep a clean sheet.
"It was incredible. The fans are unbelievable, I knew it would be like this," Jones said.
"It helped that I knew I would play last week.
"It's disappointing that those two are injured, but I knew I had chance to step up to plate and show what I'm about."
