Man Utd defender Fish warms to Hibs stay

Manchester United loanee Will Fish has stated that he will be looking to move on in the New Year.

The defender has been at Hibernian for the first half of this season to get more game time.

While United can bring back Fish in January, the player is enjoying his time at Easter Road at present.

Asked about the loan being cut short if required, Fish replied, per The Mirror, “I think they do but to be honest with you, those discussions haven't been had yet. It's not something that I'm actively looking to do.

“If I stay here, that's something that I would love to do [reach the top 3]. It's still pretty early in the season but under the gaffer, his coaching team and the way he wants to play, I think a few more tweaks and building on leads, we can easily push for the third spot."
