Manchester United defender Jonny Evans admits he was amazed by Alejandro Garnacho's wonder goal on Sunday.

Evans missed the win at Everton due to injury.

“It was incredible," said Evans, speaking to Sky Sports News after receiving his MBE.

"It was one of them where I wanted to show my kids straight away. I was watching the game at home and I was just about to leave (when it happened). Obviously all the comparisons are with Rooney's goal from a few years ago against City.

"It was amazing technique and I'm really pleased for the lad."
