According to reports from the Daily Star, Middlesbrough could sack manager Aitor Karanka after the Manchester United game this weekend.
Middlesbrough enjoyed a decent start to their Premier League campaign but their form in 2017 has been woeful, having failed to claim a single victory and as a result, Boro currently find themselves languishing in the dreaded relegation zone.
Karanka has understandably come under a lot of pressure due to Middlesbrough's poor run of results and reports have claimed that the club hierarchy will look to dispense with the services of the Spaniard if Boro suffer a defeat against United in front of home fans at the Riverside Stadium this weekend.
