Manchester United are pondering a move for Wigan Athletic left-back Leighton Baines.
The Daily Star says United manager Sir Alex Ferguson could move for Baines if Gaby Heinze is sold this summer.
Everton and Manchester City have already made contact with Wigan about the £6 million-rated fullback.
