Manchester United are confident signing PSV Eindhoven attacker Cody Gakpo.

Gakpo is currently shining for Holland at the World Cup and has expressed regret missing a move to United over the summer.

However, United will now come in for the goalscorer in January after releasing Cristiano Ronaldo from his contract.

And adding weight to the speculation is Portuguese football insider Pedro Almeida recently Tweeting, “Cody Gakpo will be a Manchester United player in January".
