Man Utd chiefs unhappy with Williams over Man City, Ferdinand blast

Manchester United are reportedly unhappy with Brandon Williams after his Instagram posts over the weekend.

Williams, who barely featured for the Red Devils' first team this season, was posting on social media after Manchester City won the Champions League.

The young defender referred to City's win as “sloppy seconds" and criticized United legend Rio Ferdinand for celebrating the City win while working as a pundit.

One post read: "@rioferdy5 Bet you don't congratulate if you was [sic] player keep the same morals. too face is boring. You don't praise simple as. Fakessssssssss for [money emoji]."

Per ESPN, Williams' accounts were assessed by United officials and they were not best pleased.

They do not believe the views reflect how United would like their players to act.

City boss Pep Guardiola stated that he received a congratulatory message from Sir Alex Ferguson.
