Manchester United chiefs have told agents to forget offering them available managers.

Leading agents have offered their services to find Solskjaer's potential successor — but have been told the club has no intention of sacking the Norwegian, says The Sun.

A number of players remain far less convinced than Old Trafford chiefs that Solskjaer is the right man to take the Red Devils forward.

A well-placed source said: “The message is not clear.

“There is confusion in the team, players don't understand what the tactics are.

“There's no team, it's just individuals and there are big problems in the defence."
