Manchester United chief scout Martin Ferguson was again in Spain yesterday to see Atletico Madrid face Espanyol.
Ferguson was in Espanyol's directors box to run his eye over Atletico goalkeeper David De Gea.
De Gea is expected to move to United for £18 million at the end of the season.
Ferguson, the brother of United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, made a previous check on De Gea earlier this season against Valencia.
