Manchester United chief John Murtough says Wout Weghorst fits in the spirit of manager Erik ten Hag.
The Dutchman is on-loan at United from Burnley, signing yesterday.
Murtough said: "Weghorst scored a consistent amount of goals in various major European competitions.
"His qualities will add an extra dimension to Manchester United. We were also drawn to his strong personality and committed approach to football. That fits perfectly in the spirit that Erik ten Hag is building in the squad.
"He has shown a tremendous desire to come to Manchester United and be part of what we are pursuing to achieve this season."
