Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney remains a target for Chinese clubs this month.

The Telegraph says Rooney may be flogged to China this month despite the transfer window closing.

Chinese Super League clubs have until February 28 to get their business over the line meaning the England international is still in the shop window.

Jose Mourinho is keen to keep Rooney, 31, at least until the summer as United compete on four fronts.

But the striker – who is being used off the bench – could sway Old Trafford chiefs by showing interest in a move.
