Man Utd boss Van Gaal: A very bad experience

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal felt they threw away their result at Leicester City.

United imploded at Leicester, losing 5-3 on Sunday.

"It was a very bad experience," the Dutch boss told talkSPORT.

"When you're two goals ahead you have to kill the game, you have to keep the ball and at that time it was not so difficult to do that.

"But we gave possession away ourselves, which was a big disappointment.

"We played very well in the first half and started the second half in the same way, but then we gave the game away.

"You can't explain that, you can only see that it's happening.

"The only thing you can try is to change players, because you can see they are not strong enough to play 90 minutes.

"It's not about the individual errors, it's about the team. The team must have the idea to keep possession and play simple, but that was forgotten today."
