Man Utd boss Ten Hag: Why it's been tough for Williams and Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag admits it's been a tough season so far for fullbacks Brandon Williams and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Ten Hag is without right-back Diogo Dalot after he picked up his fifth yellow card of the season last weekend.

It presents a problem for Ten Hag with Wan-Bissaka and Williams still struggling with injuries.

"They haven't got on that well in the last couple of months," said Ten Hag.

"Brandon wasn't available with a bad injury, he really struggled but he is in the right direction. He will be back in training camp next week and will go to Cadiz.

"Aaron struggles as well but different side, some injuries, some illnesses so was not available but doesn't have a real big problem. It is about him to get really fit and provide competition for Diogo in the second half of the season."
