Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has praised the durability of Bruno Fernandes this season.
The Portuguese had suffered a slight ankle injury against Brighton in their FA Cup semi final on Sunday.
Despite having his foot in a protective boot this week, Fernandes played against Tottenham in a 2-2 draw on Thursday night in the Premier League.
Pre-game, ten Hag stated on his on-field captain Fernandes: "Of course he's ready, it's Bruno Fernandes.
“He's tough, he takes responsibility, he wants to play and of course, we're happy he's there because he's a big player for us and he makes a big impact in every game.
“He's our captain, so we're really happy."
