Man Utd boss Ten Hag praises Dalot: But being good isn't good enough here

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has challenged Diogo Dalot to keep pushing himself.

The 23-year-old has started every game for the Reds so far this season and has seemingly continued to go from strength to strength under Ten Hag's management.

Dalot scored his first European goal for United in last week's 3-0 win over Sheriff in the Europa League, and ahead of their next outing in the competition, away to Real Sociedad on Thursday, Ten Hag has challenged the Portuguese to keep striving for more.

“I hope Diogo keeps progressing, so not only sticking to this level," Ten Hag told reporters during our pre-match press conference at the Reale Arena on Wednesday evening.

“Our approach, our philosophy, is that good is not good enough. We have to do better.

“But we're happy with the development and the performances of Diogo, that's quite clear."
