Man Utd boss Ten Hag fumes: Refs targeting Casemiro

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has hit out at the way Casemiro is treated by referees.

Casemiro was booked and substituted at halftime for yesterday's win at Luton.

"Even when he is not touching opponents he gets booked," Ten Hag said. “Often the first moment of the game.

“I think it's crazy and it was so unfair that first booking. That second could have been so that's why I took him off. He touches an opponent and he gets booked."

Casemiro has been missing almost three months out with a hamstring injury.

"You can see now he is back in the team, he gives so much to the team, organisation and calmness," Ten Hag added. “We are very happy because since he has been back it lifts the levels."
