Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag joked he would ask Robin Van Persie for advice if they played Feyenoord in the Europa League.

The Red Devils were in the draw for the last 16 of the competition after beating Barcelona on Thursday.

While they ended up drawing Real Betis, ten Hag had joked after the Barca game that if they got Feyenoord, he would have asked Van Persie for tips.

“I think Erik wants to play against anyone [in the next round], except one team," Van Persie joked on BT Sport.

Ten Hag responded: “If we draw Feyenoord, I know who to go to for all the information!"

“I hope so," Van Persie added.

Fellow Premier League side Arsenal have drawn Sporting CP in the last 16 of the competition.
