Manchester United are set to keep hold of Hannibal Mejbri.
Off contract in June, Hannibal's deal carries a 12-month option.
The Manchester Evening News says United will trigger the clause to secure the midfielder to 2025.
The move will give manager Erik ten Hag time to decide whether Hannibal has a place in his long-term plans.
Hannibal has made four appearances for United this season, scoring once.
