Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag admits the situation surrounding Andre Onana is not yet clear.
United take on Wigan in the FA Cup on Monday, before they play Tottenham in the Premier League days later.
There is speculation Onana could play against Spurs and then play for his nation Cameroon at the African Cup of Nations a day later.
Asked about the matter, Ten Hag stated: "So, we're talking with [the] Cameroon Federation. It was an issue during the talks with Andre when he came in here, and it's constructive, so we will see."
He added on whether there is clarity: "I don't know yet, but he will be there for the game against Wigan."
Onana may be worried about losing his place in the team, given his shaky form so far this term.
