Jose Mourinho says it was the display of confidence from his Manchester United players in their 4-0 win over West Ham that pleased him the most.
Goals from United's attacking players, such as Romelu Lukaku, Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba, would have been encouraging for the Portuguese, given his side's dire 54 goal total last season.
"I don't think the game was 4-0 but you score the third and you breathe and relax and play with more confidence. It was a difficult game for us," he told Sky Sports.
"We didn't start especially well, maybe we were a bit nervous, but then we had a quality performance, good personality and word which I like: confidence.
"The team played with lots of confidence and even at 2-0 they were confident and kept playing football. I was happy and it was a very positive performance."
