Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is ready to re-sign Burnley defender Michael Keane.

The Daily Express says United have always enjoyed a good relationship with Burnley and agreed an option to buy the central defender back when Louis Van Gaal allowed the promising centre back to leave for only £3m in 2015.

Now with concerns over the fitness reliability of Phil Jones and Chris Smalling, Jose Mourinho is set to trigger that option.

United also agreed a 25 per cent sell-on clause and that could result in the £20m valuation being reduced to around £15m.
