Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says George Graham should be given the Scotland job.
Ferguson believes Graham is the man to revive Scotland's fortunes - if he can be persuaded to take the job.
Ferguson said: "There has been about 37 names mentioned for the Scotland job --and what I'd like to know is why George Graham wasn't included.
"Maybe George hasn't got the inclination to do it because I have seen him quoted saying the right job had passed him by.
"I haven't spoken to George for a while, so I don't know what he's doing or his plans.
"But he is a really good manager. He is strong, is disciplined and just the man Scotland need."
Graham, 64, has been out of the game since being axed by Spurs in 2001.
