Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has no concerns over Wayne Rooney's temperament following his petulant dismissal for England last week. Asked about his star striker's temperament after his recent sending off for England in their 2-2 draw in Montenegro.
"I think he is showing tremendous improvement in terms of his temperament in the last few years," Ferguson told American satellite radio station Sirius Xm.
"But maturity brings other things and he is improving all the time."
Ferguson says he has not spoken with Rooney since the incident in Podgorica.
"I texted him and he never got back to me. I didn't see it but I was told it was a reaction - to my mind it is not the worst thing in the world," he continued.
