Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says this season's title winning campaign has been his "most dramatic".
Fergie's side finished nine points clear of second-placed Chelsea, the biggest winning margin since 2001.
Ferguson said: "What a season. I do not think there has been a more dramatic season than this one. The players were absolutely brilliant and well done to them.
"There's been a lot of great performances. We have won the title more times than anyone else in the country and it's great for our history. This is a great feat.
"All I can say is that all teams are different, the game evolves, and at the end of the day we proved to be the best team this season.
"I would also point out that, though we have not set the world on fire away from home, we have the best home record in my time as a manager here.
"We beat Chelsea, our nearest rivals, four times.
"Some of our football at home was out of this world so I reckon we must be doing something right."
