Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says Chelsea will be a contender next season - with Jose Mourinho in charge. The Real Madrid coach is expected to return to Stamford Bridge at the end of this season.

"I think Chelsea will be involved in the title next year," he said. "Chelsea have got some good players and if Jose Mourinho goes there that will help. You read the newspapers and he does seem to be going back there."
