The race for want-away Olympique Marseille left-back Taye Taiwo is heating up.
The Nigeria international this week declared he would quit l'OM in the summer.
The Daily Mail says Manchester United and Liverpool are interested in Taiwo, who is out of contract in June.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson saw the 25-year-old play against Monaco last month while Manchester City, Tottenham, Juventus and Real Madrid have also watched the Nigerian recently.
He is looking for a five-year deal worth £3.5million a season.
