Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been given a two-match touchline ban and a £10,000 fine for his verbal outburst towards referee Mike Dean after the 4-3 win over Hull City. Ferguson had admitted the charge to the FA.
The Scottish tactician will sit in the stands for United's games against Blackburn Rovers in the Carling Cup and the following Saturday against Sunderland.
