Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has delivered positive injury news over Nemanja Vidic and Shinji Kagawa.
Vidic has been out of action since September, after another bout of knee surgery, but could be ready to return to the starting XI for the match against the Sunderland.
"Nemanja is back in the squad," said Ferguson. "He is a top defender and our captain."
There was more good news for Ferguson, who also confirmed Shinji Kagawa would begin training with the first-team again after a two-month absence.
