Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson admits the ease of their Premier League title triumph has surprised him.

United are now to play out their final four fixtures as an extended victory parade.

"I am delighted we are sitting here. I would take that any time," said Ferguson. "But of course, I am surprised.

"With the competition we have in the Premier League we expect it to be tough. It is tough. The competition is more severe now.

"That is why we are delighted with what we have achieved."
