Manchester United have swooped for Irish schoolboy centre-back Jimmy Dunne.
United have beaten Aston Villa and Chelsea to the signing of Dunne. The 15-year-old will reportedly sign a four-year deal with the Reds on 16 October, his next birthday.
"There were other teams interested but, from the minute I went to Carrington [Aon Training Complex], I knew that was the right move for me," the Dundalk prospect revealed to the Irish Independent. "It's a huge club with a great history and they have been very supportive of me right from the start."
