Manchester United and Real Madrid are chasing highly rated Brazilian youngster Wellington Aparecido Martins.
The midfielder, just 17, is regarded as one of the best young talents in South America.
He plays for Brazilian league leaders Sao Paulo, who are desperate to hold on to their starlet.
The Sunday Mirror says Sao Paulo have valued the player at £15million, and Sir Alex Ferguson is set to do battle with his Spanish rivals once again.
Wellington said: "My dream is to play in Europe. I do not have any preferences."
