Manchester United face stiff competition for Bayer Leverkusen fullback Jeremie Frimpong.

United boss Erik ten Hag has concerns about his fullback options and is an admirer of Holland international Frimpong.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and United are all keeping an eye on the fullback.

However, Barcelona has challenges with Financial Fair Play, which make them an outsider in the battle.

However, according to Romano, all three clubs have been in dialogue with Frimpong's agent, Jeffrey Lemmert.

Frimpong has a contract with Leverkusen until the summer of 2025.
