Manchester United attacker Anthony Martial is said to be frustrated that he was not allowed to join Arsenal during the January transfer window, according to The Times.

The 22-year-old is annoyed with the lack of first-team opportunities that have been provided to him by Jose Mourinho this season and recently turned down the opportunity to sign a new five-year deal with the club.

During the January transfer window, United had inquired about the possibility of signing Martial, but eventually settled on Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who has since impressed at the Emirates Stadium.

Martial is still frustrated that he was not allowed to join the Gunners, especially as his playing time has been limited since the arrival of Sanchez.

Mourinho could be open to listening to offers for the French international during the summer transfer window.

Juventus, Arsenal and Lyon have all been touted as potential suitors for the former Monaco man.
