Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has been told money is no object for this summer's transfer market.
The Daily Star says Mourinho handed his wish-list of targets to United executive vice chairman Ed Woodward two months ago.
It included big names from abroad such as Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane and Monaco's midfield enforcer Tiemoue Bakayoko
It also listed players from the Premier League like Chelsea's Willian, Everton's Romelu Lukaku, Eric Dier of Spurs and Burnley's Michael Keane.
Woodward laid the groundwork for United to lure some of these superstars to Old Trafford, but knew Champions League football would strengthen his hand.
The Red Devils have now confirmed their return to Europe's top table following Wednesday night's Europa League triumph over Ajax in Stockholm.
