Cody Gakpo has left the door open to staying with PSV Eindhoven this season.
The Holland winger is a target for Manchester United and Arsenal.
But after victory over FC Emmen yesterday, Gakpo said: "It could be that if PSV makes it to the Champions League, I will stay.
"Getting the Champions League with PSV makes it more likely to stay.
"I have never said anywhere that I want to leave," emphasised the attacker. "The chance that I will stay is there anyway. We just have to see how it will develop and eventually I will make my choice."
PSV face a Champions League qualifier with AS Monaco this month.
