Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez has already been assured of his shirt number at Manchester United.

It's emerged this week that James - via agent Jorge Mendes - has informed United he'd be happy to move to Old Trafford this summer.

Wife Daniela Ospina has been in the Northwest house hunting in anticipation of the transfer.

And Don Balon says negotiations are so well down the road that he has been assured that the No10 will be his should he make the move.

That number is currently captain Wayne Rooney's, but all indications are that the club captain will be leaving at season's end.

And with the coveted shirt number vacant, James has been informed it will be his should a deal between Real and United be struck.
