Man Utd ahead of Man City for Norwegian teen keeper Kjetil Haug

Manchester United and Manchester City are fighting for 15-year-old Norwegian goalkeeper Kjetil Haug.

The Daily Mail says Haug, who is on the books of Sarpsborg, spent the final week of September on trial with United and youth coaches were excited by the potential of the goalkeeper.

Indeed, Haug made such an impression that he was invited to train with the United Under 18 team before travelling with the squad and watching the 3-1 defeat away to Aston Villa.

United face stiff competition to capture Haug, who is this month set to train with Manchester City for a three day spell and the goalkeeper has also been invited to spend time with both Arsenal and Everton later on this year.
