Man Utd ace Pogba confesses 'mental' letdown after winning World Cup

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba admits he's been suffering a World Cup hangover.

Pogba, speaking with Sky Deutschland, concedes he's found his motivation levels low after the high of winning in Russia.

He said, "We've made our dream come true, it's incredible, it will stay forever.

"Sometimes I'd like to forget it for a short while, to get back to new goals with the same motivation.

"It is not easy mentally to go on fighting for titles.

"I've shown that I've matured, not just on the pitch but also as a leader, for me it was the moment when I had to show what I was capable of, for me it was the decisive step away from the young junior promise to the leading player, I sacrificed myself for my team and fought for my country."
