Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson continues to track Blackpool winger Thomas Ince.

The Manchester Evening News says the 20-year-old is inspiring Blackpool's efforts to regain Premier League status and is Ian Holloway's top scorer in the Championship with six goals.

The Reds have shown interest in adding Stockport-born Ince to their stock of young midfielders to go alongside summer recruit Nick Powell from Crewe.

There remains a questions mark over the future of Nani, and Ince junior is building a scoring pedigree and attacking sense wide and centrally.

If United are to cash in on the Portuguese winger then around £6m of it could go towards bringing in the new Incey.
