Shaun Wright-Phillips was amazed by the support for England against the USA.

The Manchester City winger was staggered by the level of support the team got for the disappointing 1-1 draw with the USA in Rustenburg.

He said: "We know how much it means to our fans to go further in this and we have to pay them back for their incredible support.

"The stadium was just full of England fans. The support we get is unbelievable. That's why we all try to give our hearts and souls every time we play for England.

"We want to do it for the fans because it's incredible so many have come so far to support us.

"We're still very confident we can qualify for the next round. Morale is still high. It's not a bad result. We played well, created chances but were just unlucky to concede in the way we did."
