Manchester City winger Vladimir Weiss accepts he has his work cut out to make Slovakia's World Cup squad.

Weiss' Dad is national team boss, but he knows he faces a battle for a place.

"I played for Slovakia when I'd not really played here. He still gave me the chance. I think I took it - since I got in the Slovakia team I've started every game. The fans back home support me, which is good to know," Vladi told City's website.
